Rotary Social and Humanitarian Center in Kharkiv
The Rotary Social and Humanitarian Hub was established at the outset of the war as a community-based volunteer initiative supporting Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region. Over 600 volunteer and charitable organizations have joined forces with us, resulting in a twofold increase in the number of Rotarians and Rotary clubs in Kharkiv during this period.
Originally founded as a humanitarian aid hub by Rotarians, the initiative operated continuously for more than 18 months and provided assistance to over 700,000 individuals, with total aid value exceeding $8 million.
Having relocated to a dedicated facility, the Hub is now transitioning from humanitarian relief to long-term social-psychological services, rehabilitation programs, and the development of a comprehensive Resilience Center.
