Don't be afraid of explosions and come back for candy!

One of the manifestations of children's trauma due to war is increased alertness and anxiety.

In big cities, such as Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, and other cities that are constantly bombarded, children are more sensitive to sounds, to pressure, to the absence of people around, to various situations that can lead to negative consequences. Well, how does trauma work? Babies become hypervigilant, and this vigilance does not go away, and children do not manage to return to a relaxed state on their own.

And then - the accumulation of experiences. There is the so-called delayed PTSD: children are able to accumulate certain traumas or stresses and then, sometime in the future, demonstrate that it was, that it happened in their life, that it is psychological pain.

How can we help? For example, to distract creatively.

Recently, we participated in a charity event by the Litokryl Now network of psycho-emotional support centers. For pupils from Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dergachy and Lyman, we handed over 104 kg of Roshen sweets and lollipops.

As a result, the children created a festive craft "Christmas wreath" from salt dough, took part in a photo session with their peers and ran home to trample candies.
