Dressed and groomed!

A third of people in our country are elderly. During the full-scale war, they found themselves in difficult conditions. Someone no longer has a home, someone does not know how to support themselves without external support, others have no idea how to inform about their own needs. There are many such stories.

However, all elderly people deserve human conditions, despite the war and despite any life circumstances. And then - an example of how to create "human conditions".

In the Izyum district, one of the social and medical institutions works heroically, with an inpatient department, which takes care of mostly elderly people. Here, the old women are, firstly, under the constant supervision of qualified personnel. Secondly - in the circle of people with a similar diagnosis. Thirdly, in specially created conditions for decent living, not questionable survival.

Our Rotary HUB responded to the institution's request and provided a number of sets of thermal underwear and gowns for local wards.

You can help the elderly in different ways. But the defining word for us is "help".
