Trees were planted - everything was as it should be in the park!

On May 8, volunteers of the United Rotary HUB, members of the Kharkiv Reconstruction Front reconstruction battalion, as well as their friends and acquaintances met in the Industrial district.

And to be more specific, in the "Green Grove" park, to create a green paradise on your own.

The fact is that the city received 15 ornamental-type saplings, including thuja and junipers, from the Merefyan nursery. So the question became where to "place" the trees and who would prepare the land.

The offer to help did not bypass our volunteers, but on the contrary - delayed it. Representatives of three organizations - "Dobrobat", "Kharkiv Reconstruction Front" activists and "Rotarians" exceeded the task, as they also undertook the transportation of seedlings.

Because everyone understands that the war started by Russia harms the ecosystem of the entire continent. Any military conflict is not local in nature when it comes to the environment. Ecosystems cannot be divided by conventional boundaries simply by drawing them on a map. If the natural balance is destroyed in one geolocation, it will definitely be felt by another.

Nature should not "wait" for tomorrow. We care about the environment at the district, local, and national levels already today!
