May holidays, children and war!
May holidays, children and war!
Traditionally, Ukrainians used the beginning of May as a long weekend: they planned picnics, family outings, filled their stomachs with barbecue, and improved relations with their neighbors.
After the start of the war, the meaning of the International Day of Workers' Solidarity, which was later called Labor Day, was lost for every Ukrainian.
We do not celebrate the first of May, but bravely fight and work fruitfully. But since our "work" consists of volunteering, carrying out charitable projects and promotions, we can afford to rest with the descendants of an indomitable nation.
For example, Ataeva Olga - volunteer No. 163, together with her team "Helping the children of Zlagoda" organized a "sweet distribution" for displaced children on the outskirts of Kharkiv. Each child received a mix of sweets - chocolate, caramel, marmalade + a pack of cookies with the taste of steamed milk from the well-known manufacturer - the Roshen concern.
We fill the present with humanity and cherish a peaceful future!
