Greece is in touch in a difficult hour!

Without any understatement, we can say that all European countries have rallied unprecedented support to Ukraine and remain on our side, helping at every step. In particular, for 15 months, women and children who escape from "Russian guests" are sincerely accepted and returned to a peaceful life.

For example, the tenth EU country - Greece - a year ago gave shelter to Ksenia Spiridonova - the future president of our club. Ksyusha was lucky with her adaptation, because like in other countries, there are volunteer and state, regional and district centers for rapid integration (into culture, language, people's rights, etc.) in Greece.

And so one such community was awarded for its impeccable work.

On Sunday, 14.05, Ksyusha had the honor to attend the ceremony during which the Municipality of Termi (Δήμος Θέρμης) honored the president of the Monopigado Cultural Association - Mr. Παναγιώτης Πατατολης. He, together with the local community, still provides tremendous support to Ukrainian refugees through their activities. For 448 days, the Greeks take care of all Ukrainian men and women in the city of Monopigado: humanitarian, social, moral.

In turn, the Ukrainian Diaspora of Northern Greece and, directly, the refugees said their thanks with a delicious cake.

We must remain positive, even in the face of war. That's why we hold on and support!
