During the year of the war, such a phenomenon as "internal refugees" appeared in Kharkiv. These are people who moved from Kharkiv to Kharkiv, i.e. to other districts - from Northern Saltivka, Oleksiivka to Novi Budynki, Kholodna Gora and other districts.
Currently, approximately 1 million 100 thousand inhabitants live in the city. This is half as much as before the war, Mayor Ihor Terekhov said on the air of yesterday's telethon. These people made a decision for themselves - to stay at home and put up with rocket attacks.
At a time when Kharkiv residents believe in their land and justice, we, volunteers, see this as an opportunity to prove courage in our own way.
The Rotary HUB team is proud to provide humanitarian aid to its people in wartime conditions. And this support not only feeds, but also heals, clothes, takes care of, warms.
Over the weekend, we received a video report from volunteer No. 606 - Olena Knysh. Residents of the Slobidskiy district thanked Rotary HUB for comprehensive care: for stew and water, medicines and diapers, soap and toothbrushes, etc.
We are happy and everything is mutual. There would be no you, there would be no us. That's why we hold each other tight! We will not let a single enemy into Kharkiv!
