What I won't eat in March, I'll happily eat in April!
What I won't eat in March, I'll happily eat in April!
What do you say, our dear Kharkiv resident! After all, this is what the donor predicted when he sent the humanitarian truck to the HUB: 1 box = 12.5 kg = 1 fed family = 1 month.
A year ago, we, the Rotarians of four Kharkiv clubs (Rotary Club Kharkiv "New Level", Rotary Club Kharkiv Mriya, Rotary club Kharkiv, Kharkiv Rotary Club "Kharkiv City") CREATED A HUMANITARIAN HUB. During this time, we PROVED that ROTARY is a TRUSTED VOLUNTEER PARTNER! So you can trust us with TONS of products and confidently shape the next one.
This is exactly the relationship we have with the World Food Program - the largest humanitarian organization, which became a full-fledged UN program back in 1965. According to representatives, the project will continue until "as long as multilateral food aid is recognized as possible and desirable."
Our partnership looks like this: the UN regularly sends 60 tons, that is, hundreds of boxes, where one weighs 12.5 kg. Inside are: 8 cans of canned meat, 1 bottle of oil, 1 can of canned beans, 6 packs of pasta, 5 kg bag of flour.
From the point of view of packaging and transportation, it is ideal. If you volunteered for 1 day like our Iryna Zhukova or Iryna Denisova, you would well understand how much ready-made sets save time: picked up and given.
So, we are very grateful to the United Nations Organization for sponsoring the WFP program and for joint charitable work in the Kharkiv region!
Everything will be Ukraine - fed and rebuilt!
