Received new medals and continued volunteering!

From the first day of the war, Kharkiv was one of the hottest spots in Ukraine. Over the course of a year, the Russian army not only destroyed a large part of the city's infrastructure, but also continues to bombard areas where millions live.

And it is the fact that there are people in Kharkiv that motivates the volunteers of Rotary Khabu to continue performing "charity sketches".

But it is necessary to understand that volunteering is not only about picking up, dividing, taking away and giving out. It is about sleepless nights in search of scarce things, about emergency fundraising, about preparation of donor presentations, about several hours of negotiations with partners and several-page reports...

Fortunately, there are tens of hundreds of public organizations like us, and they all do the same thing - volunteer. But in no case no one duplicates anyone, but all, at the same time, are fighting for the peace of Kharkiv!

So, last week, the Kharkiv Defense Headquarters awarded 18 Rotarians for the defense of the hero city. Medals were awarded to:

Members of Rotary Club Kharkiv "New Level" - Serhiy Ivaglo, Eugen Chumak, Yury Doshchechkin, Volodymyr Pogodaev, Serhiy Sydorov, Valentin Nol
Members of Rotary Satellite Club Kharkiv "New Level Universe" - Hanna Zhivotchenko, Olga Starikova, Yulia Lysenko, Maryna Gruzkova
Our friends Robert Mkrtchan and Oksana Slipchenko were also awarded
And charity assistants: Yaroslav Plugataryov, Vitaly Lugovy, Vitaly Dmytrenko, Serhiy Levenets, Olena Karpets, Iryna Libenko
