At the seminar in Lviv!

Administratively, all Rotary clubs in the world are divided into 531 districts. We - Rotary Club Kharkiv "New Level" - belong to district 2232 Rotary in Ukraine. Its purpose is to assist clubs in administrative management.

This weekend, District 2232 is holding a series of training seminars for 130+ Rotarians from 60 Ukrainian clubs. The greatest attention was paid to the lectures of the PETS block (presidents-elect training seminar) - an annual seminar held for the presidents of the upcoming Rotary year. It takes place under the leadership of the next year's governor, giving him the opportunity to personally meet the presidents and assistants of his year, to establish working relationships with them in a single team. Great importance is attached to the motivational aspect of training.

From our club went to the Lviv: Pavlo Filippenko - the current president, Eugen Chumak - the 2024-2025 president, Serhiy Ivaglo - the officer of the membership committee and girls from the Rotary Satellite Club Kharkiv "New Level Universe" - Olga Golysh - president 2023-2024, Olga Starikova.

Why?
Because weekdays are for service, and weekends are for study.

The purpose of the seminar is to empower the future presidents, to convince them that they are ready to draw up a strategic plan for the development of their club on the national and international arena. The task of the workshop is to start immediate, long-term planning simply by answering 3 questions:

1. Where are we now? The answer will determine the club's main mission, strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
2. How do we want to see ourselves? By answering this question, clubs can define their expectations, their vision and their tactics.
3. How to achieve this? The answers will help to bridge the gap between the intended goal and the real state of affairs.

Perhaps you are wondering if we are not tired? No, because we deliberately ended up in Rotary.
