This post is about a personal meeting with the Finnish delegation!

On the first day of the war, it was difficult for us to believe that different guests would come to Ukraine next year:

- the first ones will have bullets and grenades rattling in their pockets
- others have humanitarian packages and pallets
- the third have money to donate

As a couple with the AFU, we meet everyone, but we behave accordingly: as to us, and we to you. But let's not talk about the sad, rather about the pleasant.

We hope you remember that the Kharkiv New Level Rotary Club is part of the worldwide Rotary International family. In total, there are about 46,000 clubs in the world. Life is not enough to communicate with everyone. But our president Pavlo Filippenko wants to make a start so that his descendants - son Arseniy - continue the work.

This weekend we had the honor to meet the delegation from Finland. These are not ordinary volunteers. First, one of them is a member of the Finnish Rotary Club. And secondly, they are benefactors with combat experience. These men were on the front lines, in particular in Kupyansk, in order to pass on their experience to the soldiers of the Lutsk battalion. And on the way home, we stopped by our humanitarian headquarters.

That's how Pavlo met his fellow Rotarian Marra, to whom he showed and told about the work of the united Rotary HUB and the colossal support of charitable funds of Finnish origin. At the end, Marra handed us his club pennant. An ancient tradition that strengthens friendship between all members and gives hope for further cooperation.

So, we publicly thank these guys for having the courage to visit our home!
