This is the fifteenth thanks speech for the "Finnish Stove" project!
Spring is spring, but in some houses it still blows in winter. That's why we continue to report on the issue of burghers from the city of Salo (Finland), namely from the non-profit association Omri ry - Pro Ukraina and personally the director - Mr. Tapio.
This week, Rotary HUB volunteers handed over a stove to a woman who is raising two sons alone. The family lives in the Kharkiv region, and therefore suffers not only from arrivals, but also from planned outages due to repair and restoration works. As a mother, this woman from Kharkiv is tired of fearing that her children will get sick before the central heating is restored.
But at the moment there is a Finnish stove in the lady's house - a very high-quality thing. Parts for this "metal monster" were manufactured at one factory, and assembled at another. The structure of the burzuka includes a blower, a chimney and a hole into which briquettes are placed for kindling. The main advantage of this furnace is its high efficiency, as well as small dimensions.
In addition, the Finnish benefactors predicted that the beneficiaries would be mainly women, who could take over at the expense of the first commissioning. In order not to stress them, Omri ry put inside the instructions + matches + dry alcohol for kindling.
So, on behalf of the woman from Kharkiv, we sincerely thank Mr. Tapio and the Omri ry - Pro Ukraina association for the provided stove - it will be a warm night tonight!
