Special award - the coolest thank you!

And did you know that last weekend, June 10, the Rotary Conference of District 2232 Rotary in Ukraine was held in the city of Dubno, in the Rivne region?

A District is a limited area where, as defined by the Board of Directors of Rotary International, a certain number of Clubs are united on an administrative basis (geographically close clubs) in order to maintain synchronization between the global goals of the Rotary movement and the activities of individual clubs.

Whereas the District Conference is an annual meeting of Rotarians with the purpose of further promoting the development of Rotary programs through the achievement of friendship, exchange of proposals, discussion of the activities of District Clubs and Rotary International as a whole.

The 2022-2023 Rotary year was hot and warlike, but the most effective year of the district's activities. Today, Rotary Clubs of Ukraine independently implement Global Grants, develop their regional humanitarian centers, maintain close contacts with European and American Rotary clubs.

The work of the conference was attended by John Gevko - Secretary General of Rotary International, as well as the Ambassador of Turkey to Ukraine Yagmur Ahmet Guldere, brothers and sisters from France, Poland, Germany, Lithuania, Belgium.

And during his speech, the general secretary said that the Ukrainian Rotary community has grown by more than 25% over the past year, which is a great example for the world. And then - AWARDED OUR CLUB WITH A SPECIAL AWARD - despite the war, we attracted 28 people to the Rotary movement, namely we founded two satellite clubs - Rotary Satellite Club Kharkiv "New Level Universe" and Rotary Club Pyvden' New Level! This is the best result among other Ukrainian clubs in the 2022-2023 term.

The diploma was received by Serhii Ivaglo, a charter member of the Rotary New Level club, head of the operational department of the Rotary HUB.
