At the first signal, assistance was provided to the Kharkiv water utility!

At the beginning of the war, we were all scared that the first thing that should "fall down" is the communal sphere. As if people will be left without light, heat, gas and water. But for Kharkiv, the predicted destruction turned out to be a stupid hallucination.

For example, only in May 2023, crews of KP "Kharkivvodokanal" eliminated 257 emergency situations on cold water supply pipelines, arranged 305 inspection wells with the replacement of shut-off and regulating fittings, and overhauled 122 water collection columns.

According to Mykola Zavada - deputy director for production of the "KHARKIV WATER SUPPLY" complex of KP "KHARKIVVODOKANAL" - during the war, the consequences of enemy shelling of networks had to be regularly eliminated. Only direct hits and destruction of pipelines were counted almost 100 times. ‼️BUT on average, such damage is removed in no more than 12 hours‼

Communal workers react quickly to an accident, and volunteers of Rotary HUB are on duty on their charity front.

So, we received a request for the following food products:
- flour (provided 3 tons)
- peas (provided 300 kg)
- barley groats (provided 300 kg)
- pasta (provided 500 kg)

The food will be used to prepare free lunches for employees of the emergency repair crews of KP Kharkivvodokanal.
