From such videos, the heart is filled with two opposite feelings: sensitivity to the people and hatred for the enemy.
This grandmother is 85 years old. It is difficult for her to speak, she is tired of calling: "Hello, the heat has disappeared again." She just wants to live.
But as of today, Ukraine's energy system has already survived 12 enemy missile attacks and 14 UAV strikes on energy facilities. In addition, more than 10 GW of the main installed capacities are currently inaccessible to the Ukrainian energy system and are under the control of the occupiers. All this requires strengthening schedules of planned hourly outages. All this makes people feel cold. All this hints to the team of Rotary HUB that it is time for the project #We_heat_Ukraine_in_a_crowd_hour.
Purpose: prevention of hypothermia of Kharkiv residents, in particular, elderly people, people with disabilities, people with reduced mobility, and those who lost their homes due to blankets. The products are made of strong and dense raincoat with "anti-moisture" impregnation on one side, fleece on the other and contain optimal heat-insulating hypoallergenic filler.
Funds for the purchase of high-quality materials were obtained from the Rotary Club of Evergreen, Colorado, as well as Rotary District 7040. We sincerely thank everyone who contributed and helped raise $28,000.
And special thanks to the volunteer Inessa Maznytsia, who takes care of the old woman while the Armed Forces of Ukraine beat the enemy!
