Foreign service is an important skill!

And we are very lucky to have President Pavlo Filippenko, who did not rely on luck, but achieved and achieves everything himself - by walking.

For example, in the fall Pavlo went on a European Rotary tour. In particular, he attended a meeting of Rotarian clubs in Turkey in order to tell his brothers and sisters about the fierce battles at the front, the destroyed historical center of Kharkiv, mass burials in Izyum, thousands of displaced people, the lack of communication/light/heat/water in the de-occupied villages and the threat of total, humanitarian crisis in Kharkiv region.

But the actualization of fatal problems quickly changed to the generation of ideas for close cooperation, support and fight against the disaster. So Pavlo established contact not only with Turkish Rotarians, but also with German guests, who were present at the meeting for the same reason - "service in spite of myself."

Then, in memory of the indomitable people of Kharkiv, Pavlo left the Rotary Club Kharkiv "New Level" pennant. And yesterday, a letter came to his presidential mailbox - a pennant of the same German club Rotary Club Mayen.

This means that the exchange of pennants is, on the one hand, a colorful tradition, but on the other hand, it is a tangible symbol of international camaraderie and friendship. We sincerely thank the members of Rotary Club Mayen for this gesture. We hope for close cooperation and your personal support!
