#Wintering_Together in the lecture room?

The period February 2022-February 2023 was scary, bloody, dangerous. We didn't notice how we got used to air alarms, terrible news, power outages. Adaptation certainly helped us to survive. But there is one nuance in this habituation: we updated our understanding of the norm and began to devalue our self.

Self-development during the war is about faith in the future. After all, this is something we do now in order to be able to do more later.

That is why yesterday our clubmate Eugen Chumak upgraded the volunteers of Rotary HUB during a lecture on the influence of the environment and finding one's purpose.

A blitz poll at the beginning of the lecture showed that the majority of those present believed that their actions and behavior were determined mainly by personal preferences and tastes. However, Eugen explained to the Rotarians how society exerts invisible pressure on their choice process and how they can avoid this and learn to make informed, rational decisions.

Influence is a tool. If we understand him, then we should not passively stand aside and wait for what will happen. Instead, they should use it - to create environments, shape situations in order to improve their own world and find their purpose.
