How do Kharkiv Rotarians understand charity?

Of course, everything that volunteers do within the walls of our Rotary HUB can and should be called charity, but what kind? In addition to benevolent intentions, we "invest" international experience and cross-sector partnership. This is our weapon, which without cartridges brings Ukrainian victory closer. And as always we have an example.

A few days ago, the team of Rotary HUB, represented by Pavel Filippenko, Valentina Filippenko, Serhiy Sydorov, collected and delivered a large, medical, humanitarian parcel to the hospitals of the de-occupied villages of Kharkiv region. This included: crutches, wheelchairs, wheelchairs, disinfectants, antiseptics, dressings, masks, rubber gloves, compression devices, medicines, personal hygiene products (shampoos, liquid soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes).

And today we received a video report from volunteers who delivered things to these medical institutions. Therefore, we would like to thank the foreign partners who took care of providing:

- for the disabled equipment and hygiene products, we thank the caring people from the city of Geldern (located on the border of Germany and the Netherlands) and separately Ihor Balaka - the president of the Kharkiv Rotary Club "Kharkiv-City" - thanks to which the trucks reached Kharkiv

- for medicines to Romanians from Tulcea Humanitarian Logistics Hub, Filiala Judeţeană Tulcea a Asociaţiei Comunelor din România, Romulus T. Weatherman Foundation, IsraAID, IsraAID Moldova and Romania, Protection Civile with the participation of the Embassy of Ukraine in Romania and support, in as moderators, Rotary HUB Izmail, which operates on the basis of the Rotary Club Izmail.

So, now we are as united as possible, we stand for each other, because multiplying charitable works is a way of life for Rotarians. And we are also Ukrainians! Believe us, we have enough will to defeat the enemy on the battlefield! Glory to Ukraine!
