A year of indomitability in the Kharkiv style!

The Russians found themselves on the outskirts of Kharkiv on the morning of February 24, 2022. Russian troops planned to take the city in one day. As a result, they could not even enter it with numerous units.

But Kharkiv was unlucky to be standing only 40 km from the border with lawbreakers. Therefore, even when the Armed Forces of Ukraine drove the invaders back to their territory, the war for the city entered a new, perhaps even more psychologically difficult phase: the targeted destruction of critical infrastructure.

However, every time Kharkiv residents are "rescued" from electricity, water or gas, volunteers invent new ways to "remove" the Russian contagion.

Someone writes projects, someone defends grants, someone delivers a humanitarian aid... 369 days volunteer movement of Kharkiv is a charity in the format of "yours for yours".

The other day, the "Year of Invincibility" event took place, which was organized with the support of Sister Olga Zmiivska from the Rotary Club "Kharkiv Multinational". The goal: to gather volunteers from Kharkiv and help Dmytro Krasilnikov - Brigadier General of the operational group of troops "Kharkiv" to celebrate the contribution of each.

This is how operational managers of our Rotary HUB were awarded the sign "For the Defense of Kharkiv" for helping the military during the Russian invasion:

So, there is no glory - Rotarians are simply proud to be involved in a common cause - to fight the consequences of the actions of a hostile state!
