"No" to starvation! "Yes" to feeding!

In the conditions of war, children are still born. For example, during the 362 days of the war, there were 1,771 more Kharkiv residents in our city. But all of them are forced to grow in extremely difficult conditions. In addition to the needs for safety, restful sleep, and hygiene, babies require a special diet. This is especially true for formula-fed babies.

Each mother knows her resources: how much water she needs for "maintenance" of one feeding, how many more feedings the mixture will be enough for, how long she can maintain the proper process of preparing the mixture (according to the instructions). And we, as volunteers, know a lot of stories when women fed children with mixtures that were not suitable for their age, because there were no others, no matter how loud they were.

And they had to pay a heavy price for this drastic change. We are often contacted by parents whose babies suffer from exacerbation of atopic dermatitis or food allergies. Mothers are asked to find hypoallergenic mixtures for their children.

We were asked, we talked to the "necessary people" and "extinguished" the need.

Ihor Balaka - the president of the Rotary Club Kharkiv Rotary Club "Kharkiv-City" and Vitaly Nagornyi - a fellow club member - organized the delivery of 14 pallets of hypoallergenic children's food for the beneficiaries of Rotary HUB.

The cargo was received from Yaroslava Boyarkina, Dream team. ua and NGO "Institute of Social Innovations and Development".

Mothers in Kharkiv do not panic and calmly feed their children!
