Every year, on the first Sunday of August, the Air Force of Ukraine celebrates its professional holiday. This year it fell on August 6.

In the morning, the first greetings addressed to the defenders of the sky came from President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny and Commander of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykola Oleschuk.

The team of our Rotary HUB joins in and humanitarianly congratulates the Ukrainian lords of the sky.

Our friend, military volunteer Volodymyr Bezymyanov visited Orichov in Zaporizhzhia the day before. Two-thirds of the city was destroyed as a result of Russian shelling. From here to the front line is 8 kilometers. This means that even a 120 mm mortar can reach Orichov.

BUT dozens of battalions serve here and bravely hold their positions. And several of them are under our care.

So, sweets, canned goods, chocolate, spaghetti, oil, sugar, canned soups, etc. were handed over to the front from the past president of our club, Pavel Filippenko.

More than 10 kg of home-made donuts from the volunteer of HUB No. 75 - Kateryna Hrytoshkina.

From volunteer No. 640 - Inessa Maznitsa - boxes of baked goods from the hero city of Izyum.

From the members of our satellite club Rotary Satellite Club Kharkiv "New Level Universe" - Alina Rocha and Olga Golysh - tea, coffee, porridge with meat, various canned goods, cereals, cookies!
