Rollators, crutches, and walkers were handed over so that its residents could leave the hospital faster!

The health care system is one of the most affected by the war. The full-scale invasion of Russia created a considerable burden on it. This is connected not only with the massive systematic destruction of medical institutions, but also with the growth of demand for some types of medical care and services that were not a priority before.

For example, the city clinical hospital No. 31 is a multidisciplinary institution consisting of 6 departments with a 280-bed inpatient unit. Although the medics are not military surgeons by profession, they deal with such injuries as their counterparts in military hospitals.

However, after difficult operations, there is a stage of long-term rehabilitation.

And speeding up the adaptation of operated military and civilians is a constant priority of the activities of our humanitarian Rotary HUB. None of them should be left without attention and systematic care.

So, in order to give the patients of the 31st hospital the opportunity to move outside the ward (in particular, around the yard), our teammate Serhiy Sidorov transferred the disabled equipment to the management of the medical institution.

The campaign was carried out together with Finnish donors - members of the Ukrainian association in Finland Ukrainalainest yhystis Suomsoe ry / Ukrainian Association in Finland and volunteers of the Logistics Center of the Ukrainian Society Logistiikkakeskus / Logistics Center.
