How we got to know more Germans because we call ourselves Rotarians!

Another story, about another meeting, in another German city, which was held last week by our President Pavlo Filippenko, his wife Valentina, volunteer Iryna, deputy of the Kharkiv Regional Council - Mr. Serhiy, and deputy head of the Krasnograd OTG - Ms. Natalya Zinchenko.

During their "charity tour" in Germany, the unsurpassed five made a stop in the mountainous region in the southwest - in the city of Shwarzwald. These lands are known for the fact that the highest and most accessible of the country's large waterfalls is located here - the seven-cascade Triberg.

But not only because of the receding water, our friends visited this region.

The initial goal was to visit one of the members of the local Rotary Club - Rotary Club Furtwangen-Triberg. Because this gentleman is the owner of the hotel, which is located at the foot of the waterfall.

Therefore, the boys and girls postponed the inspection of the "falling water" and kindly stopped by for coffee/tea. By the way, Mr. German Rotarian treated Kharkiv residents to biscuits made by confectioners in the hotel's kitchen.

Also, Pavlo and the team got to know three women from Kiev, to whom this Rotarian and his wife provided shelter and temporary work.

We don't know about you, but we have a very pleasant aftertaste after such stories. We thank the Germans for the family support of Ukrainians!
