It is in our hands to fix the mutilated roof!

According to the registry, 1,019 high-rise buildings and 409 private buildings were destroyed and damaged in Kharkiv due to massive rocket attacks, tank/mortar attacks and bombing.

Unfortunately, according to the results of the examination, some houses are assigned the status of "dangerous object". Such houses are subject to demolition. Thus, according to the protocol of the meeting of the regional commission dated March 28, 2023, it is planned to liquidate 3 houses in the Kyiv region. The decision was approved by the OVA.

But the regional council emphasizes that such forced measures of "demolition" are rather isolated in nature. While the general situation with reconstruction is more positive. In particular, because dozens of volunteer associations actively help utility workers in cleaning and fast-recovery repairs.

When they talk about volunteer reconstructionists, they also mean our well-wishers "Kharkiv Reconstruction Front" who are making maximum efforts. For example, the day before yesterday they fixed the roof in a house where elderly people live.

In particular, a team of 10 volunteers cleared the roof of debris, repaired minor damage to the covering and replaced the broken slate with a new one. In total, 30 sheets of slate were installed and the ridges of the roof were installed.
