In the Kupyansk community, they are loyal only to the Ukrainian authorities!

Unfortunately, 29 villages in the Kupyansk district are still under Russian occupation. While the neighboring settlements remained close to the frontline and suffer from shelling by the Russian army. There are "more than 50 arrivals" in a matter of hours, because the front line is 12 km from the district center.

Despite this, there are enough civilians here. At the moment, according to OVA statistics, 812 children and 724 people with disabilities are registered in the Kupyan Territorial Community, 140 of whom are disabled. They know very well that it is in the Kupyansk direction that Russian troops may soon launch an aggressive offensive. But they still don't leave their homes.

The benefactors of Rotary HUB personally saw this. At the beginning of the week, volunteer Svitlana turned to our teammate Artem Zakharov. She asked to provide humanitarian aid for the people of Kupyansk, in particular, to form hygienic mini-kits.

We assessed the possibilities of our headquarters, prepared a couple of dozen kits for oral care/hygiene of the face, body, head, and then distributed toothpaste + brush, 2 in 1: shampoo and shower gel to the most vulnerable people who lived and live in Kupyansk.

Personal hygiene products were purchased and sent by forced migrants, our compatriots who found shelter in Finland. Their union is called the logistics center of the Society of Ukrainians Logistiikkakeskus / Logistics Center. And for our Rotary team, it is a great honor to be the link between those who can help and those who need it. Thank you for being with us!
