On Volunteer Appreciation Day, we say hello to Mykolaiv drivers!

Before the war in Ukraine, only one in twenty volunteered. Instead, in 2022, the year of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, the number of volunteers increased 8.4 times.

The war has already taken 421 days of our lives. The war that was yesterday continues today and, unfortunately, will be tomorrow. The war that took hundreds of thousands of young, ambitious, cool people from us. A war that destroyed cities and destroyed villages.

But despite the moral and physical fatigue, we DO NOT GIVE UP FROM THE CHARITY ROUTINE, so that UKRAINE DOES NOT GET INTO A HUMANITARIAN, CRISIS WEB.

Today Ukraine celebrates Volunteer Appreciation Day. And now, with this publication, the Rotary HUB team will convince you that Ukrainian volunteerism has no analogues! We are an indomitable movement of an unconquered state!

The fact is that as a result of long-term negotiations and thanks to the support of Finnish friends, the company Savo-Karjalan Linja Oy, which owns a large fleet, donated a bus to solve the daily tasks of our headquarters.

It is quite obvious that the transportation from Finland to Kharkiv took place in several stages and by different drivers. But it was these two men - volunteers from Mykolaiv Oblast, Pervomaisk - who brought the bus to its destination (to the yard of Rotary HUB). They specifically came to Lviv to get behind the wheel and deliver a Finnish car.
