Quick response service = 24/7 duty!
Quick response service = 24/7 duty!
Emergency medical teams are workers who provide emergency care to people outside the hospital or on the way to it. In our Kharkiv, this work is performed by the "Center for Emergency Medical Aid and Disaster Medicine".
According to the latest published report, in just 7 days, mobile brigades from Kharkiv carried out:
- 6893 departures (there were no outpatient visits)
- treated 6,759 patients, of whom 2,706 were hospitalized
- 2282 electrocardiograms were taken
- conducted 4 successful resuscitations (one of which was performed by the doctors of the Kupyansk department)
And this does not take into account departures due to war troubles. And such, unfortunately, happen, because Russia wants the death of Ukrainians.
But because of the non-stop service, we become very vulnerable. Therefore, in our opinion, it is better to sleep for a couple of hours than to be forced to sleep due to lack of strength.
So, from our united Rotary HUB for the doctors of the EMA Center, we handed over 11 beds that we recently received from Finnish donors - the Logistiikkakeskus / Logistics Center. Paramedics and ambulance drivers, who are forced to work around the clock, will rest on the beds.
While "someone" doubts, the victory is won by ordinary people!
Glory to Ukraine!
