Project "Opora"!

A year ago, in June 2022, inspired by the idea of a charity event, "Major Oleg" and military psychologist Yulia came to Rotary Club Kharkiv "New Level". Aiming to develop a REHABILITATION PROGRAM FOR MILITARY SERVANTS of the front within Kharkiv, they asked for informational support.

The fact is that from constantly wearing 25 kg of body armor, every second army man suffers from pain in the spine and lower back, hernias, protrusions appear, and other problems "climb out". In addition, unfortunately, the number of soldiers who lose limbs in war is increasing every day.

Last summer, we promised to act as a connecting link, to PROVIDE CONTACTS OF PSYCHOLOGISTS, REHABILITATORS, MASSAGE THERAPISTS, so that a group of specialists could quickly develop a treatment and rehabilitation program and an action plan.

‼️Said - done - the project was launched‼️

Serhii Ivanov - a volunteer of the Rotary HUB and a massage therapist by profession and Oleg Shevtsov - an officer of the Kharkiv defense headquarters and a friend of the New Level club - today lead mobile brigades of rehabilitators and physical therapists who come to the soldiers right on the front line.

And the day before yesterday, the boys appeared on the air of Fakty ICTV (news release at 19:30 (04/05/2023), and together with them, a humanitarian bus, which we donated to the needs of the "Opora" project, appeared on the screens of Ukraine (thanks to the donors for providing the car - the Lahti club -Wesijärvi Rotaryklubi, Rotary 1390 Finland and Rotary 9940 New Zealand districts).
