Our Sergey witnessed the weaving of camouflage nets!

On the eve of Palm Sunday, Sergey Sidorov went on an excursion to a very interesting place - essentially a sewing factory, but since April 2022 it is better known as a workshop for the production of masks.

If anything, this is not a tour and tickets cannot be purchased. It's just that the girls help Rotary HUB take care of the military. And the day has come to hug each other.

Hugs and thanks for the regular supply of camouflage nets that allow soldiers to maneuver and regroup in such a way that the enemy can only guess where "that mortar platoon" is now. Now the demand for nets has increased, because thanks to them it is easier to gain a foothold in new positions that arise as a result of the "creeping offensive" of the AFU.

In one hour, Sergey was shown how they started and how they knitted the last batch of nets. That is, at the beginning of the war, they worked manually: 4 people x 3 working hours x 8 working days = 1 camouflage net (average length 10-18 m). But recently they automated themselves - they bought a laser machine for UAH 300,000. and sew "spiders" twice as fast and according to NATO standards.

Well, it should be reminded that honey, a pack of cigarettes, a pack of Lviv coffee, cookies and 20 pairs of socks come with each masking net.

On the way home, Sergey said that holy people work in this workshop. We believe that the names of the "saints" should be known to everyone: Oksana Datskiv and her daughter Veronika, Yulia Kucherenko and sons Oleg and Vlad, Marina Shklyarevska, Yulia Ikonnikova, the NGO "Women's Council Foundation", the team of the Bussky State Technical University, as well as Galyna Oliynyk, Oksana Krupa , Oksana Babinska, Lesya Poronyuk, Oksana Hrytsai.
