Heroes without weapons!

The rescuers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, without weapons in their hands, are currently fighting the terrible, catastrophic consequences of war. Eliminating hundreds of fires every day, rescuing people, demining liberated areas, providing psychological assistance.

And as native Kharkiv residents, we closely monitor the work of the local group - the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.

According to the latest estimates, more than 570,000 hectares of Kharkiv region need to be surveyed for mines. The anti-leader was recognized as the Izyum district - 321,240 ha - the area of the explosion-proof territory.

And now, for comparison, we will give the following data: during the period of September 2022-April 2023, Kharkiv pyrotechnicians surveyed about 2055 hectares of territory, 260 km of highways, 1007 km of power lines, 159 km of railway tracks and 189 km of gas pipelines, where they found and ‼️ neutralized 55,852 explosive objects‼️

There are still tens of thousands of expeditions of a decontamination nature ahead. And together with the rescuers, the team of Rotary Club Kharkiv "New Level" is responsible for the future. Therefore, we decided to update the overalls of the pyrotechnic units of the Kharkiv region.

The new equipment was provided by Finnish volunteer colleagues - Logistics Center of the Society of Ukrainians Logistiikkakeskus / Logistics Center.
