Wonder how things are going in the south of the country?

Well, in humanitarian terms, it is quite bright. Because on the shores of the Black Sea, in the city of Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky, volunteer service is performed by our satellite club - Rotary Club Pyvden' New Level.

What is a Rotary World Satellite Club?

The concept of "Satellite Club" was developed in order to expand the Rotary community. That is, the local club recruits a small group of responsible people, sponsors, provides advice and support for charitable activities and gradually EDUCATES THE NEW CLUB. When membership reaches 20 or more, a meeting is held and a decision is made whether to remain a satellite or become an independent Rotary club.

At the moment, Rotary Club Pyvden' New Level is 16 Ukrainians who increase good in the Odesa region, and to be more precise, they feed/treat/sterilize homeless dogs and cats, help with food and hygiene products to displaced people, elderly people, disabled people, supply soldiers with ammunition, cooperate with hospitals, etc.

No, this is not all the business of the New Level South team. Also, they unite with other Rotary clubs (both Ukrainian and foreign) and together carry out specific, but mega-cool projects.

For example, the other day, they handed over medical equipment for the hospital and a generator for the emergency response team of their OTG + sleeping bags for the military. This action was supported by the following clubs: Rotary Club Lviv, Rotary Club Lviv International, Rotary Club Kyiv-Sophia (Ukraine), Rotary Club Lviv-Centre, Rotary Club Ukraine Unity.
