Believe it or not, we ate fried marshmallows here!

Which was made independently at the campfire during the 8-day September vacation in the Cherkasy Rotary adaptation camp.

Taking children out of town during a war is not exactly about entertainment, not exactly about recreation. This trip is a manifestation of parental care, an opportunity for mom, dad, grandmother, grandfather to say "thank you" to their child for their obedience, endurance, and understanding of the times that came 7 months ago and are still going on.

Because in the summer of 2022, teenagers had to defend the Ukrainian rear. Instead of a peaceful sea, mountains, forest, field. they had to see pasta, stew, rice, salt, etc. Receive cargo, form packages, deliver products, work fruitfully side by side with adults.

They managed, and therefore they definitely deserved a week in nature, in the heart of Ukraine. For the organization, we are grateful to Ksenia Masyukevich and the team of the Rotary Cherkasy Sky club, with whom we - the Rotary Club Kharkiv "New Level" - united in July 2022.

It is with pleasure that we watch how our boys and girls reboot! We are waiting at home with new ideas, strength, peace of mind, behavior, and body.
