Kharkiv is the first capital of Ukraine.

With these words, Yuliya Pavichenko - the president of the Rotary club "Kharkiv Nadiya" began a tour of the hero city for the English guest Emilia Merenmies - a Rotarian from The Rotary Club of Haworth & Worth Valley.

Mrs. Emilia showed courage and came to Kharkiv to see with her own eyes: the active activity of Rotary in the region, the continuous work of humanitarian HUBs, to personally meet the indomitable civilians and courageous military personnel who have been fighting for their native land and sky for 7+ months.

The program was quite dense, but the planned was carried out, in particular, A NUMBER OF IMPORTANT MEETINGS with:

- the president of Rotary Club Kharkiv "New Level" Pavlo Filippenko
- by the Rotary HUB team
- specialists of the Kharkiv Perinatal Center
- military personnel serving in Kharkiv region
- the first faces of Rotary club "Kharkiv Nadiya"

"You are not just fighting on the border of Russia and Ukraine, you are fighting on the border of Russia and Europe. You are protecting all of us," Emilia told the Ukrainian border guards.

We Ukrainians read dozens of times a day that all civilized European countries support us. But only actions truly change the course of events. Thank you to the Rotary sister from Great Britain for the visit!

We are a strong nation that ATTACKS THE WEST and ATTACKS RUSSIA! Ukraine will win!
