Grant Stew: Day 8

You can endlessly watch three things: how the fire burns, how the water flows, and how the volunteers of Rotary HUB distribute the grant stew. Almost 30 days ago, Iryna Ivanova, a member of the New Level club, took part in the competition for sub-grants from the "Network of 100 Percent Life of Rivne" as part of the EU4CSOs Emergency Actions project. She presented the project and won the grant event.

At the beginning of the month, our warehouse received TM Riga Gold chicken stew, which we add to all food sets. We ship from 300 to 500 kg of strategic provisions per day, feed hundreds of families in the city, and also go to the liberated villages of the Kharkiv region from the occupiers. The aid given is recorded in the lists, which allows us to assess the scale and bring a larger amount of humanitarian aid the next time.

"You are helped - we help" - it would seem simple, but in fact it is a very wise truth. 200+ days we've been hanging on thanks to the actions of kind strangers. Everyone expresses sympathy in their own way. However, for the population of the frontline city, any attention makes the day better, more confident, stronger. And once again, the European Union gave us strength, for which we are immensely grateful!
