Grant Stew: Day 6

"Tell me what you eat and I'll tell you who you are." If you look carefully at the products that Kharkiv residents receive, the answer will be obvious - we help people increase the amount of reserve food in their homes. Because for more than six months, Ukraine has been living in the conditions of a full-scale war. The front is constantly shifting, and therefore disruptions in the logistics chain are observed in new and new areas.

Our 4-kilogram humanitarian package contains provisions from partners from various countries in Europe and the world. To receive it, we sign a cooperation agreement and undertake to report on each package issued. But there is one product in our set that got there in a different way. This is the chicken stew that Iryna Ivanova, a member of the New Level club, won in the competition for sub-grants from the "Network of 100 Percent Life of Rivne" as part of the EU4CSOs Emergency Actions project.

Throughout September, we are giving out stewed meat from the domestic producer Riga Gold. During the day, the HUB forms approximately 400-500 humanitarian packages taking into account this product. And then Rotary volunteers make deliveries #from_hand_to_hand not only in nine administrative districts of Kharkiv, but also in dozens of villages in the region.

We do not stop and work fruitfully in the rear. But our opportunities directly depend on donors, patrons, other benevolent people and associations, who are equally sorry for the difficult fate of the first capital. We thank everyone and separately - the European Union for the mini-grant competition and a stew victory for Rotary.
