Grant Stew: Day 4

And did you know that Rotary HUB received 1000+ cans from the EU? And did you know that stewed meat in tin cans is stored and does not spoil for 4 years? And did you know that stew is not only practical, but also a high-quality product, because during stewing, the meat practically does not lose its aroma, taste, and useful properties?

If you suddenly missed it, read it carefully. In August, Iryna Ivanova, a member of the Rotary Club New Level, took part in the competition for sub-grants from the "Network of 100 Percent Life of Rivne", within the framework of the EU4CSOs Emergency Actions project. The team prepared, and Iryna defended, a project aimed at strengthening humanitarian programs, which was implemented and continues to be implemented by the HAB for 6 months.

As you already understood, our participation ended in victory. At the beginning of September, the Rotary humanitarian warehouse received chicken stew. And now for the third week, volunteer teams distribute it to Kharkiv residents, along with other strategic products: buckwheat, rice, pearl barley, as well as pasta, canned beans, and bread.

But real housewives live in Kharkiv, who know at least 20 culinary combinations of stew with other products. For example, vegetable stew, pea soup, baked potatoes, etc. So, women will have something to do on cool autumn evenings. We thank the European Union for organizing the grant program and the opportunity to be heard.
