Grant Stew: Day 3

The other day, Rotary HUB volunteers visited 5+ sleeping areas of the city of Kharkiv. About such housing estates as Saltivka, Zhuky, Klochki, KhTZ, etc. there is no need to tell much. Unfortunately, journalists talk about them enough in daily emergency reports. However, despite the rocket attacks, people have been staying here for 200+ days.

Someone no longer has glass windows, but has chipboard. Someone's door no longer hangs on its hinges, but stands on a good word. They survive as best they can. And we can help with strategic grocery sets, including a stew that can be stored right in the middle of the room.

What preceded? In August, we took part in the competition for mini-grants from the Network of 100 Percent Life of Rivne as part of the EU4CSOs Emergency Actions project. The New Level team defended the project aimed at strengthening humanitarian programs, which was implemented and continues to be implemented by HAB for 6 months.

What is the result? In the first days of September, our warehouse received TM Riga Gold chicken stew, which we now use to strengthen Rotary aid packages. We ship about 700 grocery sets per day, which means we feed hundreds of families. All this gives hope for a bright, Ukrainian-European future, which the Kharkiv region will definitely see!
