Grant Stew: Day 2
Grant Stew: Day 2
We continue to talk about the adventures of canned chicken in the Kharkiv region. In between online lessons on Google Meet and Zoom, the children have time to interact with the Rotary, volunteer community and return home with a can of stew. It was as if they were going to the "school canteen".
Until February 24, 2022, stew was associated exclusively with hiking in the forest and mountains. The war ruined many things, but certainly not this product. Stew in a can is a completely ready-to-eat dish that can be eaten both cold and warm. It is already being enjoyed by several hundred Kharkiv families, which were visited today by the benefactors of Khabu.
And our reserves will be enough for several hundred more because in August, we took part in the competition for mini-grants from Network of 100 percent of life in Rivne within the framework of the EU4CSOs Emergency Actions project. The New Level team, represented by Iryna Ivanova, made it to the list of winners with a project aimed at strengthening the humanitarian programs of HUB.
Grant stew, which arrived last week, is now being actively distributed among homes in the front-line city of Kharkiv. We express our gratitude to the European Union for the opportunity to participate and pay attention to the affairs of the exhausted but unconquered citizens of Kharkiv!
The publication was prepared as part of a sub-grant of the EU4CSOs Emergency Actions project with the financial support of the European Union, which is implemented by the "Network of 100 percent of life in Rivne".
Its content is the sole responsibility of the sub-grantor of the EU4CSOs project Emergency Actions Rotary Club Kharkiv "New Level" and does not necessarily reflect the position of the European Union.
