Put on socks - go to bed.

The closer to winter, the more damp and cold it gets in the dugouts and trenches. According to the Ministry of Defense, defenders of Ukraine are about to receive the necessary clothing, in particular thanks to parcels from Western partners. But while issues with logistics are being resolved at the highest level, the WOMEN OF THE ZMIIV COMMUNITY have taken up the task of providing warmth to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Ladies from Artyukhivka knitted 20 pairs of socks for defenders of Kharkiv region. Hand-knitted socks are not intended for permanent wear. The best time for such socks is a quiet time. After all, there is nothing more pleasant than "freeing your feet" from tight and probably soaked all day long boots to clean and soft socks.

For each pair of socks, the women wrote motivational letters in which they addressed the Ukrainian soldiers and wished them a speedy victory! Touching words are sincerity, care and love, which 100% warm, inspire and support the spirit on a gray, soulless front.

Homemade socks are good news from home. And good must be supported. The Rotary HUB believes that everyone can join the action and warm up the defenders - and for this you don't necessarily need to know how to knit. For example, you can BRING warm WOOL THREADS, which we will hand over to the craftswomen.
