+1 conference for the Rotary intelligentsia.

This time we received an invitation letter from Maka Khazalia - representative of the United Nations OCHA - Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the Kharkiv region - to attend the SECOND MEETING to discuss the COORDINATION OF HUMANITARIAN RESPONSE and the work of the cluster system in Kharkiv.

The purpose of such meetings is to establish communication links and cooperation between all components of humanitarian aid.

The cluster coordination system was created in Ukraine in 2014, when the armed conflict began in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Since then, the System has played an active and key role in the coordination of humanitarian response in Ukraine.

Rotary HUB is focused on the food security and livelihoods cluster. But representatives of other clusters were present at the OCHA conference, in particular, on issues of logistics, provision of psychological and monetary assistance. OUR DELEGATION listened to the report, and during the panel discussion - MET EVERYONE.

The war continues, and so we cling to every opportunity that comes our way - thank you for the invitation, United Nations OCHA. The world should not lose focus on Ukraine. No one has the right to torture and abuse the civilian population.

We have been talking for 225 days, taking charitable measures, and therefore we know nothing about the humanitarian crisis!
