The dogs are doing well. They actively chew their favorite food!
The dogs are doing well. They actively chew their favorite food!
The war forced Ukrainians to reconsider their diet. Our pets felt the same. And it is good if the animal learned about the change in diet from its owner. That is, instead of super-premium or holistic food, in the four-legged bowl there is now FOOD FROM THE HOUSEHOLD'S TABLE: lean chicken/turkey without skin and bones, beef, cut into cubes, raw liver, and sometimes - porridge and some fresh vegetables.
But according to the Center for the Treatment of Animals, ‼️the number of homeless dogs in Kharkiv has tripled since the beginning of the invasion of the Russian Federation‼️ Domestic animals have little chance of survival in street conditions: they are not adapted to foraging for food, they can be injured by a shell or blown up by a mine.
Almost half a hundred cats and half a thousand dogs are lost, abandoned pets that are cared for by Rotary volunteers. But the work is multi-stage and expensive, therefore, in order to achieve greater efficiency, we divided the responsibilities:
- Rotaract club "Kharkiv Shpak" - youth initiative group, program of Rotary Club Kharkiv "New Level" INITIATES THE PROJECT.
- District 2232 Rotary in Ukraine FINANCING.
- Polina Kolodochko - leader of Rotaract Shpak WINS A GRANT and BUYS FEED.
- Oleksandr Kobzev and the rest of the volunteers RAISE STREET ANIMALS.
WE CALL EVERYONE TO TREAT ANIMALS HUMANELY!
If you know those who are willing and able - TELL US ABOUT US - SEND A LINK TO THE PAGE! To confirm the purity of our work, we will provide all the necessary reports.
If you are ready to help financially - MAKE A DONATION! All our accounts are on a separate page at https://rc-new-level.org/support.html
We save the defenseless!
