The settlers will not be left alone!

The population of Kharkiv region as of 2020 was 2.6 million people. Thus, 1.4 million residents left because of the war. BUT, according to the director of the Department of Social Protection of the Population, Yury Shparaga ‼️about 400,000 people have moved within Kharkiv Oblast‼️

Russian Federation "took away forever" 900 apartment buildings. Hundreds of floors are in a state of emergency. The situation in communities is no less tragic: every third house is uninhabitable. Now is not summer, not late spring, and therefore life in a tent is postponed until at least April 2023. And where to live now?

The city authorities took care of the resettlement of Kharkiv residents, in particular in dormitories, sports halls, schools, and kindergartens. Whereas the team of Rotary HUB (Rotary Club Kharkiv "New Level", Rotary club Kharkiv, Rotary Club Kharkov Mriya, Kharkiv Rotary Club "Kharkiv-City") is determined to provide IDPs with humanitarian assistance.

For 45 families of IDPs who came from de-occupied villages and towns, Rotary volunteers delivered FOOD (spaghetti, canned beans, oil, flour, stewed meat) and HYGIENE KITS (washing gel, shampoo, dish detergent, toilet paper, shaving machines, sanitary napkins).

We remember that we are all equally Ukrainian, regardless of the place of registration in the passport. For each of us, Ukraine is our native home, so we help to adapt and provide the usual life for the displaced people!
