Children should not draw war!

They should not think, see, speak, live where there are empty swings and carts, graves in the courtyards of city blocks, and on the paths - torn shells... Having grown up early in the conditions of a murderous war, there is only smoke in their eyes. And our Rotary HUB accumulates all its strength so that they see only the smoke that comes out through the hole in the attic of the Ukrainian house.

In October, thanks to the donations of American students (Ukrainians of MIT, Scholars for Ukraine), who were supervised by the girls - Margarita Davydova and Nastya Grebin, our Rotarian Iryna Ivanova completed the "Stationery" project. With the money received, the volunteers of HUB purchased irreplaceable school supplies and formed 187 sets for creativity.

We gave out the first 50 packages at a children's festival in the city of Merefa. And the second batch was sent to pupils of the Kharkiv Special School No. 12 for visually impaired children. Galina Kuklina personally received the director of the institution and thanked her for the clerical assistance provided.

But we care not only about the present. The war will definitely end with the victory of Ukraine, the children will return to full-time education, will again attend classes according to the schedule and will do so in the best conditions. Let's not dream, let's act immediately! For now, we started with a drawing class, which was provided with twelve hand-made easels.
