New "old" friends

Our Rotary Club Kharkiv "New Level" is the youngest in Kharkiv.

Can you imagine, we are not even 1 year old! We were "born" on May 27, 2021. And in this short time we managed to make friends only with Ukrainian clubs, and not with everyone.
Rotary is about personal friendships. A friend begins to help a friend. This is one of the missions of the organization: serving others; implementation of high ethical principles; striving for mutual understanding on Earth, for good will and peace based on friendly contacts of leaders in business, local communities and the professional sphere.

And I want to talk about the friends of our friends who have become our friends.

These are Rotarians from Konstanz, they are friends of one of the oldest Kharkiv Rotarians of the Kharkiv City Club. They turned to Oleksandr Chupilko for help. The initiator of this donor aid was a Rotarian from Kharkiv, Oleksandr. He set up a committee to help Kharkiv, which included the leaders of the three Rotarians, RC Konstanz, RC Konstanz-Mainau and RC Konstanz-Rheintor. In a very short time, these wonderful people organized a fundraiser and transferred the first 5,200 euros to us.

The money was directed to two projects.

5 tons of bulk products (porridge, peas) were purchased and distributed for our humanitarian hub.

This is our pilot project to provide the city's residents with drinking water. To do this, filters for water purification will be purchased and installed. The first equipment was installed in two bomb shelters, in the humanitarian hub and on Planova Street. Number of people with access to clean water, 1000+.

‼ ️We want to receive a $ 50,000 grant to install 50 such filters.

Friends from the Rotary clubs of RC Konstanz, RC Konstanz-Mainau and RC Konstanz-Rheintor, we do not know you personally, but we want to meet you after the victory and personally thank you.
And now a brief report on the exploits of our club for March 24.

Logisticians are beautiful!
Holy man Igor Savchykevych and Rotary Club Lviv loaded us with humanitarian aid, then Sergei Bobokalo found a humanitarian cargo in Ternopil, and our truck left for Kharkiv completely full.

We have found partners in Rivne who are ready to cooperate with us. Pavel Filipenko found the contact, we keep our fingers crossed so that everything works out!

Our logisticians not only bring humanitarian aid to Kharkiv, but also help evacuate the equipment of friends-entrepreneurs from the city.

From the friends of our club Rotary Club "Kharkiv Multinational" came to us a lot of humanitarian aid. This truck was given to us by the Rotary Club of Chernivtsi.

Yaroslav Fedorkov definitely deserves the medal "Best Logistician"! His committee finds cars literally from the air. They are always where we need them, and as many as we need.

2 tons of pasta paid. The money was donated by our Rotary District 2232. We thank District "Treasurer" Alexander Hardin for his promptness. We expect support from partners and will import.
Ultrasound from Kyiv goes to the 4th hospital of emergency care from the hospital "Feofania" in Kyiv. This is the third valuable parcel from doctor Oleg. Thank you for that. After the victory we will come to Kyiv and hug personally 

We have high hopes for cooperation with UNDP. This will help solve the constant shortage of cereals, pasta, stews, condensed milk and children's assortment. We are glad that our team was chosen as a regional partner in Kharkiv, because it is about trust in us personally, and that we were able to organize systematic work and establish working cooperation with the city authorities.

2 packages of documents have already been collected and sent for approval.

Positions: hygiene and condensed milk. We keep our fingers crossed, waiting for the first payments of bills.

2 Rotary clubs in Germany have expressed a desire to help our club with humanitarian aid! He wrote a letter about this to our president. President of our club Gennady Ivanov begins negotiations!

‍ PR - the committee works in full. The first $ 5 went to advertising.
The site for berets is being finalized. The first 2 payments have already arrived! Alexander Nikolaev controls all processes, improves and puts a bit of soul into every detail! At the meeting he shared that he was satisfied with the results. And yet, he is a very strict critic! So, the projects are really the best!

Ksenia Spiridonova agreed on very expensive and valuable medicines in Switzerland. The amount of delivery is 200,000 euros. This is more than a scarce medicine for several Kharkiv hospitals. We are waiting for delivery and will run under your personal control! Many thanks to the Kviten Charitable Foundation, leaders Anna Goflin and Sergey Elizarov.

The military has a request for rubber slippers. During the day, the ankles are very tired legs. If you know the production, or someone has in stock, or you want to make a charitable contribution with slippers, write to us immediately!

During the war, we got married and created new Rotary Clubs in other cities. Isn't this an indicator of a strong, indomitable will? Only forward, to victory! Everything will be Ukraine!
