Our Rotarians have spread all over the world, and right now there will be new connections!
I've been a Rotarian for a year now. And yesterday I had to attend a meeting of the Rotary Club WEZEMBEEK-KRAAINEM. Belgium, a suburb of Brussels. I ended up in it because it had to happen. I believe that new acquaintances will grow into strong friendships. me with a representative of this club!
While in Brussels, at first she did not move far from home. I was scared and lonely. But then, step by step, she began to look for opportunities to communicate. I went in groups on Facebook and saw that a meeting for Ukrainians was being held near my house. There I looked at the Rotary badge of one of those present. I almost jumped for joy))) I was very lucky! I met more than just a Rotarian. Stoyan Klisurov and his wife sincerely care about Ukraine. And how can they help those who came to Belgium.
That same evening Tony told his club about me and I had a chance to present the projects of our club Rotary Club Kharkiv "New Level". Tell about how people live in Ukraine now.
Day X has come. After appropriate inspections, a meeting was scheduled for June 2. I had 15 minutes to speak.
The meeting was attended by 20 members of the club. The presentation of our projects impressed the audience. I was given a warm, friendly welcome. I am very happy that I got to this club! Thank you very much for the invitation!
Honestly, sometimes I wonder how? How do we manage to do such a volume of work. How to find a humanitarian cargo, in total deficit. How to keep calm and efficient in a city that is constantly under fire. And thousands more different how?
Peace be upon us and victory as soon as possible! I believe in our Ukraine! "
