Direct communication from Belgium!

For the organization of which we are grateful to our girl Victoria Pogodaeva.

Victoria is a charter member of Rotary Club Kharkiv "New Level", but she was destined to continue her service abroad - in Belgium. Getting to know local Rotarians is a challenge if you do not yet speak German, French, or English fluently.

But we emphasize that Viktoria Pogodaeva HAD to continue the Rotary work, so it was no coincidence that she met Stoyan Klisurov, with whom communication took place in a language that was understandable to both.

That's how Victoria got to the meeting of the local Rotary Club Wezembeek-Kraainem, where she spoke about the state of affairs in her native Kharkiv.

As a sign of gratitude for taking care of our dove, Rotary Club Kharkiv "New Level" invited Stoyan Klisurov to their meeting.

We learned first-hand that Stoyan and his wife were present as translators in refugee centers in the early days, and now they are holding charity meetings in Belgium, where Ukrainians can get free clothes for themselves and their children, as well as communicate with each other.

It seems that we have become richer for a new acquaintance with a person with a true Rotarian attitude: service above self!
