So far, these are just APARTMENT NUMBERS of a typical 9-story building in the Kyiv district and the names of the owners. But later these WILL be the NUMBERS OF BRIGADES/BATTALONS in which Kharkiv residents will "serve".

What reason?

Rotary Club Kharkiv "New Level" was visited by representatives of the Department of Housing and Communal Affairs of the Kharkiv City Council and Rebuild Kharkiv for the UNIFICATION and launch of the "KHARKIV RECONSTRUCTION ARMY" project!

Why now?

We won't have time to look back as the summer passes. A long autumn-winter period is ahead. In the conditions of war, a TYPICAL KHARKIV CITIZENS do not know how to prepare for these months. There will definitely be no chance for a second attempt. But we have an idea how to do everything CLEARLY THE FIRST TIME!

What are the tasks of the Kharkiv Reconstruction Army?

There are a LOT of them, and in order to cope with everything, you should ACT GRADUALLY. We focus on:
- arrangement of basements for bomb shelters (to have a place to sit);
- inserting windows/doors, repairing roofs, removing debris near hospitals, schools, kindergartens.

Who is ready to serve?

The unconditional commanders-in-chief are the Department of Housing and Communal Services of the Kharkiv City Council and their Rebuild Kharkiv fund. But city services cannot cope on their own. Because not those times, not those human possibilities.

That's why all hope is on VOLUNTEERS, in particular, US - ROTARIANS of Rotary Club Kharkiv "New Level".

And also on TYPICAL KHARKIV CITIZENS. Those who live in 5- or 9-story buildings. In the fifth or eighth entrance. On the second or sixth floor. In the 35th or 57th apartment. EVERYONE's participation is important!

Together we will do everything! After all, as our mayor Igor Terekhov says: We are together!!! We are from Kharkiv!!!
