Hygienic rituals saved again!

We are talking about the primary hygiene skills of the child, which the child acquires in the family. However, because of the cursed war, every fifth mother complains that she is unable to fulfill her parental duty properly. We are shocked that a modern Ukrainian mother is not capable of:

- create proper conditions for washing and bathing the child,
- provide the baby with personal items: towels, underwear, toothbrush, comb, etc.;
- 2 times a day, and if necessary - more often, perform hygienic procedures: washing, brushing teeth, washing the child;
- change underwear daily, and if necessary - more often (if the child suffers from urinary incontinence, use absorbent diapers or absorbent panties).

But there is a way out and it starts with the entrance to the children's volunteer center, located on the basis of Rotary HUB. Olya Starikova manages the humanitarian department for young children. Since April, she has been sorting through diapers, personal hygiene products, mixtures, mashed potatoes and other types of complementary foods. Her duty is to read all the instructions, monitor current information from manufacturers, keep an eye on expiration dates, etc.

Thanks to Olya's service, we have improved the delivery process and, whenever possible, help 10 to 30 children every day. The role of couriers is performed by Rotary volunteers, in particular: Olya Maltseva, Oleksandr Kobzev, Valentina Kots, Natalya Parkhomenko, Yulia Makarova and others.

We express our gratitude to partners who send diapers, wet wipes, baby food!

A clean child is a healthy country! And for us these are not empty words!
