#Wintering_Together in an unchanged, but decorated room!
For almost a month, Rotary volunteers have been fighting their own burnout. The battlefield is unchanged - the educational space ME AND MY SCHOOL. And as a reward for the recent victory in the match (remember, it was a financial training), the charitable lord received the resources to decorate their "meeting place" with New Year's decorations.
The partners of the Kviten Association marathon financed, and the project's initiators purchased: candles, a fireplace, a Christmas tree, toys and garlands, additional poufs and pillows.
Why?
Because volunteers spend too much time in the same walls to naively believe that they have no effect on their mental state. At the beginning of the 20th century, the Swiss theorist and psychiatrist Carl Jung suggested that a room (be it an apartment, an office, a classroom) has a strong symbolic and psychological significance. And Kate Gelfand, an interior designer from America, studied the therapeutic potential of public/private spaces and derived the concept of "decorative therapy".
The war showed that every day is an invaluable part of life, which should be ignited, not burned. Why not do it on New Year's Eve? The holidays are coming, isn't it?
