What is it like to be a mother during war?
Being the mother of a baby during war is:
- bathe the child when there is water and electricity, not when needed
- a lot of washing by hand, because there is no possibility to use the necessary electrical appliances
- warm the bed with hot water bottles or heating pads
- change diapers and move around the house in the dark
- feed the child on the run to the shelter, without interrupting the process
- walk to the 9th floor, because there is a risk of getting stuck in the elevator
- TO THANK THE VOLUNTEERS WHO REGULARLY DELIVER THE CHILD HUMANITARIAN TO THE SETTLEMENT
And that means thanking the Rotarians - Anastasia Angelova, Oleksandr Kobzev, Lyudmila Usoltseva and other benefactors who always provide what is lacking. Because the children's department of Rotary HUB is visited more often than their own home.
And here Olya Starikova meets them. For the past 3 weeks, she has been sorting and giving out diapers, personal hygiene products, formulas, purees and other types of complementary foods of Romanian origin.
Thank you for the hygienic pallets to the partners: Tulcea Humanitarian Logistics Hub, Filiala Judeţeană Tulcea a Asociaţiei Comunelor din România, IsraAID, IsraAID Moldova and Romania, Protection Civile with the participation of the Embassy of Ukraine in Romania and support as moderators - Rotary HUB Izmail , which operates on the basis of the Rotary Club Izmail.
We are committed to charity work and are ready to save the future of children!
